We hope you enjoyed family time together last week. Aside from a few sleepy yawns, the kids looked very happy to return to school and we are so glad to have them back! Thank you for keeping attendance up, as this is important time for learning. Winter Break is just three weeks away and it's going to be busy!
I'm looking forward to the Corona Creek v Meadow flag football game on Thursday and the annual Jingle Bell Run this Saturday, December 6th! The 5k family run begins at 8:30am. There will also be a 1-mile run option. Families can run together and are encouraged to dress up in holiday costumes/attire.
On Tuesday, December 16th, the students will share a few of the holiday songs they've been singing in Music class with Ms. Shari. Parents and guardians are welcome to join us, but don't worry if you can't, as the performances will be recorded for sharing.
9:00am - TK - 3rd grade classes will sing for an audience of 4th-6th grade students and any TK-3rd grade parents or guardians who'd like to attend.
11:00am - 4th - 6th grade classes will sing for an audience of 1st-3rd grade students and any 4th-6th grade parents or guardians who'd like to attend. |
Finally, please come by the office to see our Spirit of Giving Tree and take a tag for donation, if you are able. We ask that gifts are wrapped and delivered to the school with the tag attached, no later than December 15th. Thank you for supporting a wonderful program that brings joy to the hearts of both the giver and receiver each year!
