School starts on August 12th. Just a correction from our previous post: In 1st-6th grade Parents and guardians are welcome to walk their students to playground. The parents and guardians can then congregate behind the bright yellow line until approximately 8:10, as we will need to clear that area for students lining up a few minutes later.
Be sure to confirm with your student the plan for pickup--out at the front of school, from WKC or maybe your students are walking home. On Thursday, the morning goodbyes happen at the front of school and off they go on their own!
In the morning, TK/K families will enter through the gates adjacent to the TK/K playground. TK students have a "soft start" each morning at 8am and head straight to their classrooms. Kindergarten students enter the playground at 8am and have supervised play and conversation until school begins.
Everyone is dismissed at 12:30pm on the first day of school. TK/K students will have lunch during the school day, and all other grade levels are welcome to have school lunch in the multi at dismissal or eat their lunch at home. WKC will supervise lunch for their students after dismissal. All students in TK-3rd grade are dismissed at the front of school to their adult if they do not attend WKC. Please wait at the front of school to pick up your student.

| School Supplies can be dropped off on the first day of school in the MPR. There will be tables labeled by grade level. Please label your student's school supply's bag. Extra items like wipes, tissue and copy paper will have a labeled location as well. If you ordered through PTO, the supplies will already be here. Thanks so much for your help with school supplies! |

Aeries Data Confirmation
Data Confirmation is OPEN and we are at 32% complete! This is a critical step to ensure a safe and smooth start to the school year for all students.
Please set aside 15-20 minutes to complete this important task. As part of the process, you are asked to review documents such as our Parent Handbook. If you would like a printed copy, they are available in the front office.
You'll also be asked to consider permissions related to your students, including consent for use of their photo on our website or on our Instagram page.
If you are are NOT NEW to our district, please log in to your parent portal using this link and the primary email you have on file with the school office. You can use "forgot password" feature if necessary. You will see a prompt indicating that you need to complete data confirmation. Click there and go through each screen to verify/update information.
Please note if you have a student enrolled in another district, that portal will not show your Waugh student. Please use the link provided to access the Waugh Aeries database.
If you are NEW to our district, please use this link to create a new account using the primary email you provided to the school office. Follow those steps. If you need additional information from the office, please call. |
