Tomorrow, December 16th, the students will share a few of the holiday songs they've been singing in Music class with Ms. Shari. Parents and guardians are welcome to join us, but don't worry if you can't; the performances will be recorded for sharing.
9:00 am - TK - 3rd grade classes will sing for an audience of 4th-6th grade students and any TK-3rd grade parents or guardians who'd like to attend.
11:00 am - 4th - 6th grade classes will sing for an audience of 1st-3rd grade students and any 4th-6th grade parents or guardians who'd like to attend.
Spirit Day is Thursday, December 18. Students are encouraged to dress like their teacher, and we can't wait to see how they do!
Please come by and check the Lost and Found for missing sweatshirts, jackets, and water bottles. It's overflowing and will be donated after Friday, December 19.
YOUTH TRUTH SURVEY - January 2026
The annual Youth Truth survey gives all students in 3rd-6th grade an opportunity to anonymously share feedback about their experiences at school, in areas such as belonging & peer collaboration, engagement, relationships, and culture. Student perceptions have been linked to academic outcomes, so it's especially important that we hear from students directly.
When they take the survey, students will be asked questions like: Do you learn interesting things in school? Do you feel safe at school? Do students behave in class? Does your teacher let you explain your ideas?
The surveys will be given to students anonymously in class sometime between January 7th-30th. The full set of questions is available in the front office if you’d like to review them. If you prefer for your student not to participate, the opt-out form is in the office, as well. Opt-out forms are due by December 19th so teachers can administer the surveys to students, beginning Wednesday, January 7th.
We look forward to sharing the data with you this spring to celebrate our strengths and also consider feedback that can make our school and district even better.
