Dear Parents and Guardians,
 
Hello Families,
We’ve officially entered the home stretch of the school year. Just two and a half weeks to go! While the end is in sight, there’s still so much happening on campus as we wrap up a fantastic year of learning, growth, and community.
 
One event we’re especially excited about is Open House, happening this Thursday, May 22nd, starting at 6:00 PM (early release for students, 12:30 pm). This evening is a wonderful tradition that allows students to proudly share the work they've done throughout the year. Classrooms will be open for exploration, and teachers and staff will be on hand to celebrate the learning journey with you. If you’d like to come a little early, we invite you to join us for the TK/Kindergarten Alphabet Show, which begins at 5:15 PM. It’s always a heartwarming performance and a great way to kick off the evening.
 
Open House is more than just a showcase. It’s a moment to recognize the milestones your children have reached, to see their confidence shine, and to connect with our school community. It’s a celebration of effort, perseverance, and the partnerships between students, families, and staff that make our school so special.

Safe Routes to School
I’d also like to go over a few things to make sure everyone follows the rules and keeps the traffic flowing smoothly. - When dropping off or picking up in front of the school, please stay in your car and let your student(s) walk to their entrance. Red zones are designated areas that must stay open 24/7. They’re not meant for parking, so please respect that. 
Hey parents! Just a friendly reminder to cross the parking lot at our crosswalk when you’re walking your kids to school. And please, let’s all stick to the crosswalk and avoid walking in front of cars unless it’s absolutely necessary. Thanks for your cooperation! Just a friendly reminder that the road behind our school is for staff parking and buses. Please don’t drop off or pick up your kids there. (This doesn’t apply to WKC families, though!)
